Samantha's Story

Being raised in an environment where math and science were highlighted, creativity was at the back of Samantha's mind. In fact, she never truly considered herself an artist until her senior year of high school, when she built her first website.

Although Samantha spends most of her time in this day and age building websites, it was with words that she first became infatuated with. Her spoken words as an adolescent primarily talked about disabilities and her experience growing up in and out of the children's hospital.

As she aged, a passion for disability advocacy erupted inside of her skin. She used this passion to create many of her poems, alongside using her writing to highlight children's books featuring disabilities on her latest website EduAndYou, where she wrote and continues to write a surplus of diverse children's book reviews.

Samantha is an aspiring activist who's social media presence has impacted many lives. She writes to change perspectives, although most of her photography features nature and wildlife subjects.

But that's not all, Samantha is also a student reporter who focuses on a broad range of topics. She intends on pursuing this further when she transfers to a four year university from her small community college.

Samantha's journey with physical art is just beginning, and she seeks to share her passions and the tips she learns along the way here at Soulfully Sam. Make sure to check out her socials so you can stay up to date on her most recent work, and always remember to always stay curious.
